Information Protection Policy (Privacy Policy)
TCS is interested in protecting customer’s privacy. In order to provide convenient, efficient and highly qualified services to our customers and to satisfy their requirement, TCS at times collects their personal information. It is our important responsibility to protect personal information entrusted to us and various other personal information from the risks (leakage, loss, falsification, etc.) to protect your privacy rights.
TCS has fixed our “Personal Information Protection Policy” given below and will practice and maintain the necessary and appropriate personal information protection. We make sure that every employee including executive staff and any kind of temporary staff should comply with this privacy policy in handling and managing personal information. TCS will also request and oversee our subcontractors to follow our privacy policy.
1. TCS has established an organization to promote Personal Information Protection and appointed a chief administrator of personal information to manage such information appropriately.
2. TCS has fixed rules and regulations regarding appropriate handling of personal information (acquisition, usage and provision of personal information) and ensures that every employee should comply with these rules.
3. In entrusting personal information to the third party contractors, TCS will restrict the personal information to the minimum necessary, select the subcontractors handling such information appropriately, and ensure that they manage the personal information appropriately, treating the information safely, keeping its secrecy and inhibiting to re-provide it to the outside.
4. TCS will safely control personal information maintained by or entrusted to us appropriately and reasonably, to prevent the personal information from leakage, loss and falsification.
5. TCS will comply with national laws and rules, and other regulations regarding the Protection of Personal Information.

privacy policy thoroughly to every employee and raise
awareness of personal information rights by example of leadership and by
education to every employee.

continuously evaluate and review our Personal Information Protection System
including this privacy policy and other rules regarding this matter to improve
this system.
Handling of Personal

We maintain the following customer personal information:
1. Personal information collected in the course of business between a customer and TCS (personal information written in contract sheets or purchase orders, such as name, address, gender, phone & facsimile number, e-mail address, etc.)

Business records,
service-provision information, etc. which come up in the course of business
between a customer and TCS.

We have been collecting the customer information without any foul means such as deceit etc.
<*>Purpose of Using Personal Information
In case we collect personal information, we do not use the personal information for purposes other than the purpose for which the information is collected without consent of the individual.
<*>Compliance with and Review of Laws and Regulations
TCS will comply with the Japanese Laws and other regulations regarding the Personal Information Protection such as Laws about Protection of Personal Information. TCS will also educate and enlighten every employee to raise awareness of the Personal Information Protection. In handling customer personal information, TCS has appointed a person in charge in each section handling personal information under the chief administrator to control the information properly and will take utmost care to prevent leakage to the outside. In addition, we will continuously review the above system and measures and will improve them accordingly.
<*>Outsourcing of Personal Information
TCS at times entrusts
handling of personal information to subcontractors to better serve you. In this
case, we select subcontractors handling personal information appropriately.
These contractors are held to strict policies to safeguard the customer’s
personal information appropriately to prevent the information from leakage,
keeping its secrecy and inhibiting re-providing it to the outside.
<*>Providing Personal Information to Third Parties
TCS will not provide customer personal information to a third party without first obtaining consent from the customer, except in the following circumstances:
1. Where it is required under law;
2. Where it is necessary to protect the life, safety, or property of a person, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of customer.
3. Where it is particularly necessary to promote public health or healthy development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of customer.
4. Where it is necessary to co-operate with the national government or local governmental entities for such entities to execute their work pursuant to law, and it is difficult to obtain customer consent or it is likely to interfere with the carrying out of such work.
<*>Disclosing Personal Information
At any time, a customer is able to request to disclose his or her own personal information we maintain. When a customer makes such request, TCS will respond immediately after checking the applicant is the person concerned. Please contact us by mail or e-mail in this regard.
<*>Correcting or Stopping Usage of Personal Information
If there is any mistake in personal information entrusted to us, a customer is able to request to correct or delete his or her own personal information. When a customer makes such request, TCS will immediately conduct research and will correct or delete the information if we found it reasonable to do so.
